Our Table is Broken

March 30, 2026 Hola a todos!! This week was so much fun!! Email me I love hearing about everyones life🤞🤞🤞 Highlights: Drawings from Kamila and Samantha🥹🥹 Upcoming Holy Week!!! Feliz Domingo de Ramos! NEW PISO👀 Friends are everywhere Lunches with Glomer Lowlights: Our friend Cristian might've gotten arrested Coldest I have ever been in my life🥶😭 Everyone this week is such a special one and I want everyone to spend it thinking about the Savior! But anyways, some stories. During a member lesson we were teaching these two young girls and talking to them. And they leave the room and come back and hand ME drawings they did🤗🥹sweetest thing ever! We talked about our favorite princesses and they both know ball. Snow white and Belle are some pretty good picks. Just a great experience finally being able to talk and make connections! We also has SOME FIRE EMPANADAS that was a highlight. They were so good. And Holy Week here is wild oh my... Avila is very very catholic, and they have HUGE parades to celebrate this week and the crucifixion+resurrection of Christ. Basically, we were walking and there were thousands of people waiting in a plaza. All the sudden we see these guys(pretty terrifying looking) walk out. They have these big cloaks, and apparently there are different kinds with different powers? Idk. We want to find every different kind. But then all the sudden BAM, we saw Jesus on the cross. They had a huge float of it and I was just in shock. I was not expecting to see that in that moment. It was so unique and a bit crazy but wow it was so different. Apparently when my parents were here, they saw ACTUAL people nailed up or tied to the cross... that's so crazy. 🚨NEW PISO ALERT🚨 Guys we finally got an apartment! And its so nice. Hot showers finally, nice beds, new kitchen. Unfortunately since it was so new, we had to build everything. The chairs, desks, tables, literally everything. But that was fun! Took a while because we had one screwdriver but oh well. Now we are living the high life! Unfortunately a glass table and shower curtain were broken in the process of construction. Élder Luekenga was sitting on the table and it shattered it was so loud😭😭 we were dying laughing for like 20 minutes. Literally laughing so hard our stomachs hurt. But anyways rip table☝️ We are finding tons of friends left and right and one of them, Anni wants to serve a mission!! I went up to her and talked and she was like "that's so awesome I wanna help people" and yea! She's so cool and super interested. Our other friend, Cristian, was seen talking to the police and now we have not heard from him or seen him... Hopefully he's okay maybe we just got ghosted. Overall amazing week, praying for everyone back home and hope all is well! Love to hear abour everyones life so email me!! Spiritual thought: 1 Nephi 21:16 Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me. I just love this scripture. It always reminds me of why Jesus suffered. Why he died... Why did he go through all of this? It was for us! Each and every single person, because he loves everyone so perfectly. Our names are indented in the palms of his hands, and I want to invite everyone to remember what our Savior Jesus Christ did for us this week. LOVE YOU ALL!!! Élder McMillan

FEB 28 2026  Hope everyone is doing FANTASTIC and i miss everyone!! This week has been so packed with so many miracles and a lot of scripture study/spansh study. Last week we switched to only Spanish, and our teachers think it's best if we only try speaking in Spanish for the remainder of our time here. Little annoying at times but it is super helpful. I really have to think now when someone asks a real question. Like why am I personally serving a mission   I also have the incredible opportunity to go to the Provo City Temple this afternoon! Pop out  I love this temple and it'll be good to get out of the MTC for a second. I also got the opportunity to run into some of the GOATS from BYU!!! Shoutout Carter, both Avas, Addy, McKinlay, Rachel and Kate! For real seeing everyone made my week and it was such a blessing how everything worked out.
